In 2024, visitors to Walibi Holland can expect a special treat: the popular Halloween Fright Nights are set to start a weekend earlier. This initiative aims to extend the Halloween season in the park, enhancing the spooky experience for guests.
Earlier Start for More Spooky Fun
In a departure from previous years, where the Halloween Fright Nights traditionally began on the second weekend of October, the park is planning an earlier opening for 2024. The provisional dates are October 5 and 6, followed by additional event days on subsequent weekends and selected days until early November.
Provisional Dates Overview
The tentative dates are:
- October 5 and 6 (Saturday and Sunday)
- October 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday)
- October 19 and 20 (Saturday and Sunday)
- October 25 to 27 (Friday to Sunday)
- October 31 to November 3 (Thursday to Sunday)
This schedule would extend the total duration of the Fright Nights to thirteen nights, one more day than in the previous year, 2023.
Awaiting Official Confirmation
The new dates are provisional and subject to confirmation. Walibi Holland will communicate the final decision and details later in the season. Currently, the October dates in the 2024 opening calendar, both online and in brochures, have not yet been published.
Adjusting to Regional Vacation Times
The planned change also considers the regional vacation times. While the Thursday of the autumn holidays in the southern Netherlands is omitted, the new dates coincide with the holidays in the central and northern regions of the Netherlands.
Halloween: Spooky Days for Families
Alongside the Fright Nights, the family-friendly Halloween Spooky Days event will return. It will take place on all days of the Fright Nights and throughout the entire holiday weeks, offering a comprehensive Halloween experience for visitors of all ages.
A New Dimension of Scare at Walibi Holland: Extended Halloween Fright Nights 2024
With the planned expansion of the Halloween Fright Nights in 2024, Walibi Holland is setting new standards in its event offerings. Although the final dates are still pending, it's already evident that the upcoming Halloween season in the park will be longer and more intense than ever before.
