In Walibi Holland, work is underway to lay the foundations for a new roller coaster. By 2025, the park will unveil an innovative dual single-rail coaster developed by the renowned American manufacturer Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC).

European Premiere by RMC

The planned roller coaster at Walibi Holland marks a premiere: it will be the first single-rail coaster by Rocky Mountain Construction in Europe. RMC, known for the coaster Untamed at the same park, expands its portfolio with a model featuring two tracks running side by side. This innovation offers a unique experience: one track is designed with inversions for thrill-seekers, while the other, without inversions, is family-friendly. Details on the specifications and theming of the coaster have not yet been released.

Construction Progress and Planning

The foundations are currently being laid, and the support pillars and tracks are expected to be delivered later this year. The site has been prepared, and initial components were manufactured in the factory, as images published in November show.

Integration into the Park

The new attraction is being constructed in the heart of the park, surrounded by four existing attractions: the Mega-Coaster Goliath, the water ride El Rio Grande, the Suspended Coaster Condor, and the Launch Coaster Xpress: Platform 13. This arrangement promises a harmonious integration into the park’s existing offerings.

Reuse of Existing Structures

The skeleton of the haunted house, The Final Slay Ride, which had to make way for the new area, is being incorporated into the new construction. This highlights the park's commitment to sensibly use resources and reinterpret existing elements.

Observation of Progress

Visitors have a unique opportunity to observe the construction progress: a ride on the neighboring Goliath allows a direct view of the construction site. The proximity to the site makes the developments tangible for guests and increases anticipation for the new attraction.
