The first track sections of Walibi Holland's new roller coaster are ready for shipment to Germany. This was announced by Walibi Director Mascha Taminiau in a staff memo. The amusement park in Biddinghuizen plans to open a double single-rail roller coaster from the American manufacturer Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) in 2025.
Arrival of the Tracks
The first container filled with track parts for Walibi was loaded at the RMC site in the western United States. In total, more than forty containers with track sections are expected. Taminiau emphasized the efficiency of the transport, as fewer containers would incur higher costs. Notably, the color of the tracks stands out: they are blue.
Storage of the Tracks
The track sections will soon be visible in the amusement park. They will be stored inside the fence of the Goliath roller coaster, allowing visitors to see them before the actual construction begins. Interestingly, a crate labeled “Sad” was noted, which, according to Taminiau, actually brings her joy.
