Facebook: “Mecalodon is here! The brand-new coaster will soon come to life!” While an exact opening date remains unconfirmed, anticipation is building. The name cleverly plays on Megalodon, an extinct shark species, tying into the maritime vibe of Dock World.
From Concept to Final Train
Designer Fabien Manuel shaped the trains’ distinctive look. Back in the summer of 2023, he created eight different design variants, as he shared in an
Instagram Story on March 11, 2025. The final result, unveiled yesterday, has won his approval—and the park asked fans: “What do you think of the train design?” Walibi Belgium had previously shared early sketches, but now the completed train design shines as a visual centerpiece in the Dock World area.
