The launch of the first “Walibi Winter” marks a premiere in the park's history. Unlike its Dutch sister park, Walibi Holland, which distances itself from traditional Christmas elements, the Belgian branch has decided to embrace these traditions. This article takes you on a journey through the winter magic that Walibi Belgium has to offer this season.

A Feast for the Senses: The Entrance Area

Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted by an 8-meter-high Christmas tree and stylish nutcracker figures in Walibi style. This festive reception sets the tone for an unforgettable experience and is the prelude to what follows.

Ice Skating in the “Crystal Pavilion”

In the “Crystal Pavilion”, a covered area, guests find a true highlight: an extensive ice rink spanning an impressive 750 square meters. As part of the so-called “Frozen Land”, this area offers not just ice-skating fun but also a captivating walk through “Wonder Woods”, a path leading through a forest with enchanting light effects.

Christmas Atmosphere in “Alpin Village”

Next to the ice rink, the “Alpin Village” attracts visitors, a Christmas market located beside the famous wooden rollercoaster “Loup-Garou”. Here, visitors find a cozy atmosphere with a campfire, chalets offering culinary delights, hot drinks, and souvenirs, and unique seating options in the form of ski gondolas. Musical performances by bands create a festive ambiance.

Festive Highlights in the Children's Area “Polar Playground”

The children's area “Fun World”, renamed “Polar Playground” for the winter season, is a special attraction. Here, the youngest visitors can meet Santa Claus and immerse themselves in a world of play and fun.

Magical Moments and Enhanced Attractions

Walibi Belgium has also adapted its existing attractions for the winter season. The vintage car ride “Melody Road” now features new scenes and countless lamps under the theme “A Christmas Tale”. A spectacular light show takes place at the free-fall tower “Dalton Terror”. Additionally, the 4D cinema offers the film “Sleigh Ride”, known in Walibi as “Festive Adventure”.

Street Entertainment and Winter Magic

In addition to the festive decorations and transformed attractions, Walibi Belgium offers various street entertainments that round off the experience. From impressive light shows to musical performances, Walibi Winter ensures unforgettable moments.

A Memorable Winter Experience

Walibi Winter in Walibi Belgium is more than just a seasonal event; it's a tribute to the joy and magic of the winter season. With its combination of traditional Christmas elements and exciting park attractions, Walibi Belgium offers a unique experience for the whole family. The winter opening sets new standards in the world of amusement parks and invites visitors to enjoy the holidays in an exceptional way.
