Starting November 30, Toverland invites visitors to the Winter Feelings every weekend, during the Christmas holidays, and through January 19, 2025. The theme park transforms into a magical winter wonderland with sparkling lights, snow-covered landscapes, and a towering Christmas tree at its center. With free attractions such as the ice skating rink and sledding hill, delicious culinary offerings, and a festive closing show, Toverland is the perfect destination for unforgettable winter adventures.
A Magical Winter Wonderland
During the Winter Feelings, Toverland unveils its enchanting side. Upon entering the park, visitors are transported to a winter landscape. The entrance area becomes a picturesque alpine village, surrounded by snow-covered fir trees and thousands of twinkling lights. At the heart of the scene stands a towering Christmas tree, providing not only a stunning backdrop, but also serving as the focal point for many activities.
Ice Skating Under Twinkling Lights
One of the main attractions of the Winter Feelings is the large ice skating rink situated under the gigantic Christmas tree. Visitors can skate for free and enjoy the magical ambiance created by the sparkling lights. Skates are available to rent for a small fee, and skating aids are provided for beginners, subject to availability. Gloves are mandatory for safety, and figure skates (Noren) are not allowed.
Thrilling Fun on the Sledding Hill
The towering sledding hill offers exciting fun for the whole family. With room for two people to sled side by side, guests can race each other to the bottom and test their speed. This free attraction is a highlight for visitors of all ages, providing adrenaline-fueled moments of joy.
Competitive Fun on the Curling Lanes
For guests looking for a sporty challenge, four curling lanes are available. Reservations for groups of up to eight people can be made through the Toverland ticket shop. A €10 deposit is required, which is refunded as Toverland credit after the game. This credit can be used throughout the park for food, drinks, or souvenirs. Participants must register at the souvenir chalet near the Almhut before the game to collect the necessary equipment.
The Cozy Almhut: Warmth and Indulgence
The Almhut is a favorite gathering spot to warm up and relax. Its impressive octagonal wooden design and spacious terraces create a welcoming atmosphere. Inside, guests can enjoy warm drinks like mulled wine or specialty beer while watching the activity on the ice rink through large panoramic windows. For a quick snack, an outdoor take-away station offers winter specialties such as pretzels and snack platters.
Hearty Winter Cuisine at Manaña and Solaris
In addition to the Almhut, the restaurants Manaña and Solaris offer hearty dishes perfect for chilly winter days. Highlights include classic pea soup and loaded fries topped with slow-cooked meat, providing comforting meals for the whole family.
The Magical Winter Fest: A Festive Finale
Each day of the Winter Feelings concludes with the Magical Winter Fest. Around the ice skating rink, Toverland residents and visitors gather to sing and dance together. The towering Christmas tree plays a central role in this enchanting story, creating a captivating spectacle. The show begins 15 minutes before the park closes, for example, at 5:45 PM, and is best viewed from the Almhut terrace.
