Starting April 27, Toverland is offering a unique opportunity to acquire original parts of the beloved wooden roller coaster, Troy. This special sale allows fans and collectors to own genuine components of the coaster, such as tracks, wheels, and chain links.
Unique Sale Event Launches at Toverland
Every year, Toverland renews large sections of the Troy wooden roller coaster, necessitating the replacement of numerous components. Instead of discarding the retired parts, the amusement park is now offering them for sale. Starting Saturday, visitors can purchase authentic tracks, wheels, and chain links in the Ithaka theme area while supplies last.
Tracks from Troy
The tracks, which provide a thrilling ride experience, are a highlight of the sale. Toverland offers both ride tracks and guide tracks. The ride tracks are available first, priced at 100 euros each, while the guide tracks will be sold later for 75 euros each.
Wheels of Troy
In addition to the tracks, the wheels that glide over the steel tracks of the coaster are also for sale. These are particularly appealing to those who appreciate the technical aspects of the roller coaster. The wheels, some sandblasted for a cleaner appearance, are offered at 195 euros each.
Chain Links from the Chain Lift
Another unique item for sale are the chain links from the 30-meter-high chain lift, available for 100 euros per link. These components carry the cars up at the start of the ride and are an essential part of the coaster.
Purchase Options and Special Offers
The parts are exclusively available at the “Trojaanse Schatten” souvenir shop, located directly at the exit of Troy. For those registered in the park as “Magic Members,” there is an additional 5% discount on the Troy roller coaster parts.
