In a remarkable initiative, Toverland has announced a cooperation with two industry-similar companies to establish its training program in the amusement sector. This venture marks an innovative step in the development of skilled professionals in the leisure and hospitality industries.

Toverland and Competitors: Collaborating for Education

Toverland, together with the holiday park “De Schatberg” and the Fun & Entertainment Center “Sevenum,” is introducing an educational initiative that could revolutionize the industry. This collaboration, born out of the need for qualified personnel, offers a dual education path that combines theory and practice.

A Dual Education Path at MBO Level

The focus of the training is on practical and theoretical aspects of the amusement industry. Participants undergo a two-year program at MBO level 3, providing them with in-depth knowledge in various areas such as reception, animation, gastronomy, and safety.

Diverse Practical Experience in Leading Leisure Companies

A key component of the program is hands-on work experience. Students spend 24 to 32 hours per week at one of the participating companies, periodically changing their workplace. This allows them to acquire a wide range of skills and knowledge.

Theory and practice go hand in hand

In addition to practical work, students receive one day of classroom instruction per week, conducted by Gilde Opleidingen. This approach ensures comprehensive and realistic training.

Future Prospects and Benefits for Students

In a press release, Toverland emphasizes the importance of this training for the future development of the leisure industry. Students are prepared for a dynamic and innovative field of work. Moreover, tuition fees are reimbursed, and there is an opportunity to advance to a higher level.

New Paths in Education: Toverland Leads the Way

With the introduction of this dual training program, Toverland sets new standards in the amusement industry. Interested individuals can apply now, and an open day will be held on February 24th. This program offers not only attractive conditions for participants but also a promising career perspective in a burgeoning sector.
