Thorpe Park has announced that the popular Hyperia hypercoaster will be back in operation starting June 12th. The highest and fastest roller coaster in the United Kingdom has been out of service since the end of May due to technical difficulties.
Reopening After Technical Difficulties
Following a grand opening on May 23rd and a public opening on May 24th, the Hyperia hypercoaster had to be stopped due to technical problems. Thorpe Park did not provide specific details about the issues, but work on the chain lift height was regularly observed.
Resumption of Rides
The technical difficulties have been resolved, and after extensive modifications and several test runs, the coaster will be available again from June 12th. Thorpe Park informed its fans via social media and thanked them for their patience.
A Symbolic Return
On social media, Thorpe Park shared that Hyperia, presented as a mythical goddess, has overcome her fears and is now ready to take visitors to breathtaking heights. The park praised the understanding and patience of its fans during the coaster's downtime.
Technical Specifications of Hyperia
Built by Mack Rides from Germany, Hyperia reaches a height of 72 meters and a top speed of approximately 130 kilometers per hour. It remains the highest and fastest roller coaster in the United Kingdom, promising visitors an unforgettable experience.
