PortAventura World kicks off its thrilling Halloween season on September 21, 2024. Over more than 50 days, the resort will showcase new attractions and shows that promise to captivate visitors with a mix of fear and excitement.
New Attractions for Halloween 2024
This year’s Halloween season at PortAventura World introduces a special new attraction: the horror trail “La Leyenda del Rey Caníbal.” This nerve-wracking walkthrough takes visitors through six different scenarios set in the Angkor Temple. The storyline revolves around a mysterious travel agency that sends brave adventurers on a perilous expedition. Only those who pass the trials can escape the clutches of the dreaded Cannibal King and his army of apes.
Immersive Experience: “Hysteria in Boothill”
Another highlight is the mixed reality experience “Hysteria in Boothill,” developed in collaboration with Spatial Voyagers. In a 200-square-meter themed space styled after the Wild West, real and virtual worlds blend to create a unique experience. Visitors navigate through various scenes that simulate paranormal activities, providing an intense and immersive atmosphere.
Various Shows for All Ages
In addition to the new attractions, PortAventura World offers a wide range of shows suitable for all ages. “Halloween Factory” delights music and dance fans at the Imperial Grand Theatre of China, while “West Blood Frenzy” provides family-friendly entertainment in the Wild West. The “Mediterranea Lake” transforms into a mysterious backdrop for “Horror en el Lago,” and “El Día de los Muertos” pays vibrant homage to the Mexican tradition.
Special Horror Trails
For those who seek more intense thrills, there are additional horror trails that offer deep dives into dark tales. “La Isla Maldita” in Caribe Aquatic Park, “REC Experience” in the Polynesia area, and “La Muerte Viva” in La Hacienda provide gripping experiences that will make your heart race.
