Starting October 5, 2024, Parc Astérix will once again host its popular Halloween event, “Peur sur le Parc,” running until November 11. The park will transform into a spooky wonderland filled with thrilling attractions, including the brand-new haunted house, “The Hells of Pompeii.”

New Highlight: The Hells of Pompeii

In the Roman zone of the park, brave visitors can explore the new haunted house, “The Hells of Pompeii.” Inspired by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, guests will be immersed in a terrifying atmosphere. They will journey through seven eerie rooms, including a Roman villa and a crumbling Colosseum, as lava flows and smoke effects enhance the terrifying experience. Admission to the haunted house is €5, and it is not recommended for visitors under 16.

Additional Haunted Houses and Spooky Attractions

In addition to the new haunted house, visitors can experience more eerie adventures. “The Tomb of the Gods” in the Egyptian zone challenges guests to survive the trials of ancient Egyptian deities. The “Catacombs” offers a chilling expedition through underground tunnels and mass graves, while “The Wrath of Anubis” showcases haunted Egyptian artifacts. For those looking for a space adventure, “Lost Mission” offers a 3D intergalactic expedition. Adrenaline seekers will also love the live show “Metamorphosis,” where a man is transformed into a monstrous creature before their eyes.

Nighttime Events and Special Performances

On nine special nights, including October 31 and November 1, the park will extend its hours until 1 a.m. In addition to the Monster Parade, visitors can enjoy a spectacular light show and DJ sets. Reservations are required for some of these nights.

Family-Friendly Fall Activities

Families will also find plenty to enjoy at Parc Astérix. The park will be decorated for autumn with 14 tons of pumpkins and corn plants. Activities include walks through the “Living Gardens” and face-painting workshops for kids. The park’s child-friendly zones ensure a fun experience for even the youngest visitors.

Culinary Delights: The Buffet of Horrors

A gastronomic highlight of “Peur sur le Parc” is the “Buffet of Horrors” at the Restaurant du Cirque. Guests will enjoy a creepy menu, accompanied by eerie characters like Jingo, the cannibal clown. The buffet is available for both lunch and dinner, with varying prices.

Opening Hours and Prices

Parc Astérix is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. On special event days, hours may vary. Adult ticket prices start at €54, with special Fast-Pass options for additional perks. Reservations are required on high-demand days.
