Parc Astérix has thoroughly renovated the beloved boat ride Epidemaïs Croisière, which has delighted visitors since 1989. After being closed for several weeks, the attraction is now open again with several new features.
Updated Music and Restored Characters
During the renovation, the ride's music was updated at various points to provide guests with a fresh auditory experience. Additionally, many characters from the famous Asterix comic books have been carefully restored. New decorations have been added at certain spots to enhance the overall experience.
Thrilling Dark Ride Sections
A special new addition to the ride is the inclusion of dark ride sections, which add an extra layer of excitement. These scenes make the boat ride more varied and thrilling for visitors.
One of the Oldest Attractions at Parc Astérix
Epidemaïs Croisière is one of the oldest attractions in the park and a staple of the “Bienvenue chez les Gaulois” themed area. While extensive renovations are planned for large parts of the park in the coming years, this nostalgic boat ride will continue to take visitors on a journey into the world of the Gauls.
