As the cold winds blow and the days grow shorter, a special kind of magic awakens in the heart of France: Parc Astérix transforms into a winter fairyland. From December 23, 2023, to January 7, 2024, the park celebrates its traditional “Gallic Christmas”, a festival that shines this year with new attractions and beloved favorites.

Santa's Wonderful Gardens: A Feast for the Senses

A must-see this year is the newly introduced “Santa's Wonderful Gardens”. This magical attraction takes visitors into three unique worlds: the Enchanted Forest, the Icy Valley, and Santa's Village. Accessible during the day, this glowing path is lined with butterflies, lanterns, snowmen, animals, and twinkling Christmas trees – a paradise for families that brings the wonders of winter to life.

Behind the Scenes: The Elves' Lair

New this year is also “The Elves' Lair”, a Christmas tavern that offers insights into the hidden life of the Christmas goblins. Amidst warm drinks and sweet treats, visitors can take a cozy break while witnessing the pranks of the mischievous goblins – a playful and interactive experience that delights both young and old.

Parade and Shows: A Stage Full of Wonders

The centerpiece of the festival is the “Gallic Christmas Parade”, where the park's characters make their rounds in festively decorated floats. This parade experience is complemented by a series of shows that transport the audience into different worlds:

- Qui veut la peau du Père Noël? – A unique ice show taking place in the Joconde Theater, transporting the audience to Santa Claus' toy factory.
- Quel Cirque! – A captivating show with acrobats and dancers in the Arena, bringing the world of the circus to life.
- L’Ile aux Vœux – An evening show on the lake, concluding the day with lighting effects, fireworks, and pyrotechnic feats.

The Christmas Market: A Melting Pot of Cultures

This year's expanded Christmas market offers a feast for the senses. Characters of the park in their festive costumes roam among the stalls, accompanied by the Gallic Santa Claus. Culinary delights and unique gift ideas, surrounded by festive decorations and traditional Christmas tunes, create an unparalleled atmosphere.

Winter Fun: Sledding and Ice Skating

For the adventurous among the visitors, Parc Astérix holds “All on the Slope” ready - with sledding and ice skating rinks for young and old. In a covered and protected environment, reminiscent of Santa Claus' toy factory, everyone finds their winter fun.

Exclusive Overnight Stays in the Park's Hotels

For those who want to turn their visit into an unforgettable experience, the three hotels in the park - Les Quais de Lutèce, La Cité Suspendue, and Les Trois Hiboux - offer exclusive accommodation. Each hotel impresses with its unique ambiance and grants preferred access to the attractions.

Festive New Year's Celebrations

For Christmas and New Year, the hotels host Gallic New Year's celebrations. With festive buffets and entertainment programs, they provide the perfect setting to spend the holidays in an extraordinary atmosphere. The “Gallic Christmas” at Parc Astérix is more than just a visit; it is an immersion into a world full of magic and joy. For more information, visit the official website.
