Parc Astérix, renowned for its captivating blend of history, mythology, and Gallic humor, is set to continue its tale of success. With a remarkable 2.81 million visitors in 2023 and ambitious development plans for the coming years, the park aims to substantially augment its offerings and attractions.

Expansion of the Gallic Empire: More than Just a Summer Destination

The overarching objective of Parc Astérix is ambitious and future-focused: To diversify its recreational offerings, expand hotel infrastructure, and enhance the visitor experience. With this in mind, the park intends to extend its opening days to an impressive 270 days a year, encompassing weekdays in September and the chilly month of February.

Attraction Overhaul: From Grecian Shores to London Streets

Between 2024 and 2028, Parc Astérix has grand plans in store. The Greek area, already renowned for its thrilling rides, is set for further expansion. Slated are two family-friendly attractions on the lakeside, capable of entertaining up to 800 visitors per hour. Additionally, a 400-seater restaurant promises culinary delights in a charming setting.

Another highlight is the complete revamp of the historic zone "Through Time." The name "London-Restructuring of the Streets of Paris" piques curiosity and might hint at a connection to the album and film "Asterix in Britain".

Overnight in Gallic Style: The Hotel Offensive

Experience suggests: A day in Parc Astérix often isn't enough. Hence, the park is ramping up its overnight accommodations. The "Les Trois Hiboux" hotel will be upgraded with 108 additional rooms in the first development phase (2024-2028). A brand-new fourth hotel, boasting 300 rooms, is also in the cards. And for those who think that's all, a fifth hotel in the second phase (2028-2031) will add another 150 rooms to the tally.

Deluxe Arrival: Optimizing Parking Facilities

To cater to the growing number of visitors, Parc Astérix is also prioritizing improved parking facilities. By 2028, a comprehensive project is expected to deliver hundreds of additional parking spaces, a toll booth, and a dedicated bus station.

Parc Astérix is on the brink of an impressive evolution. A blend of new attractions, extended opening hours, enhanced accommodation options, and improved infrastructure will ensure this French amusement park remains at the forefront of the entertainment industry for years to come. The Gallic legacy continues – modern, innovative, and always worth experiencing.
