Parc Astérix celebrated its 35th anniversary with a special event in the park's Egyptian zone. On this occasion, two significant additions were introduced: the new attraction “La Tour de Numérobis” and the first Gallic musical comedy, “C'est du Délire!”.
Grand Opening of “La Tour de Numérobis”
The new attraction, “La Tour de Numérobis,” was inaugurated under the patronage of the famous comedian Jamel Debbouze. Located in the Egyptian zone of the park, this attraction offers visitors an impressive experience. Rising 40 meters high, it takes guests through three phases: ascent, panoramic rotation, and descent. The innovative design, inspired by the character Numérobis, features a multi-armed crane that precisely lifts and stacks stones.
Premiere of the Musical Comedy “C'est du Délire!”
Alongside the new attraction, the park also unveiled its first Gallic musical comedy. In “C'est du Délire!” visitors follow the adventures of Groupidupianix, who aspires to become the most famous bard in Gaul, and Sérotonine, who dreams of being the first female druid. Together, they face numerous challenges, offering the audience a humorous and magical experience. The performance is accompanied by nine additional singer-actors, presenting original compositions by Vidal & Salvia. The musical is staged in the Panoramix Theater, which seats 600 and features 26 sets and 80 creative costumes designed by experts from across Gaul.
Celebrity Guests and Culinary Delights
To mark the anniversary, numerous celebrities were in attendance, including Vincent Cassel, Laetitia Casta, Louis Garrel, Ludivine Sagnier, and many more. The evening was rounded off with a Mediterranean menu created by Top Chef winner Mohammed Cheikh.
A Unique Experience for All Visitors
With the introduction of “La Tour de Numérobis” and “C'est du Délire!”, Parc Astérix sets new standards in entertainment and attractions. The 35th anniversary celebrations not only offered guests exciting new experiences, but also the opportunity to enjoy the park's unique atmosphere.
