Theme Park News: What's New?

The beloved gingerbread house from the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale in the Sprookjesbos at Efteling is nearing completion. After months of intensive restoration work, the project is entering its final phase. The house is expected to be fully reintegrated into the Sprookjesbos by the end of November, weather permitting, and will shine with fresh new details.

For the tenth time, the World Hospice Day of the German Children’s Hospice Association was celebrated at Europa-Park. Families with children and young adults suffering from life-limiting illnesses experienced a special day at Germany’s largest theme park. The event aimed not only to raise awareness about children's hospice work, but also to offer support to affected families and integrate them into the heart of society.

From October 25 to November 3, Familypark transforms into a spine-chilling Halloween world. The highlight of this year’s “Gruselparty” (Scary Party) is the grand opening of the new attraction “The Underground,” a dark haunted house designed specifically for brave teenagers and adults 14 years and older.

On October 8, 2024, Europa-Park held a special celebration to honor 98 long-standing employees who collectively represent over 2,300 years of service. Additionally, 14 employees were honored as they entered their well-deserved retirement. The festive event took place in Europa-Park’s Ballsaal Berlin, where the evening was dedicated to recognizing the loyalty and commitment of these valued team members.
