Nigloland, located in the heart of the Forêt d'Orient regional nature park, recorded its second-best season in 2024, welcoming an impressive 750,000 visitors. Popular events like “Le Printemps de Niglo” and “Nigloween,” along with the launch of the new attraction “L’Envol des Papillons,” were major contributors to this success. As a family-friendly park focused on sustainability, Nigloland is planning further developments and new hotel projects for the coming season.
Successful Season Despite Weather Challenges
Despite gloomy weather in the spring and early summer, Nigloland achieved its second-best visitor count in 2024. Park President and Director Rodolphe Gélis praised the team’s commitment and highlighted that the enhanced theming of the park, especially with the new “L’Envol des Papillons” attraction, captivated guests and contributed significantly to the year’s success. This attraction, which opened in June, is part of the “Forêt de Niglo” area and was created with an investment of €4.5 million.
Spring Highlight: “Le Printemps de Niglo”
The season opener in March 2024 drew around 95,000 visitors to the popular spring event “Le Printemps de Niglo.” With floral decorations, a massive Easter egg hunt, and the original show “SURPRISE,” the park offered a wide array of activities for families and children to enjoy the arrival of spring.
Nigloween: A Spectacular Season Finale
The autumn event “Nigloween” once again brought high attendance for Nigloland. From November 5 to 11, the park transformed into a mysterious and spooky world, attracting 194,000 Halloween fans. Creepy characters, spectacular decorations, and a daily live rock band created an extraordinary atmosphere. This year’s “Nigloween” edition also introduced the new show “MALÉFIQUE” and the latest installment of the nighttime display “IMAGEEN,” adding even more excitement to the event.
Theming and New Attractions for 2025
Following a successful 2024 season, Nigloland is entering a phase of expansion and thematic innovation. Starting next season, visitors will be able to explore the new “La Maison de Niglo et Niglotte” building in the “Forêt de Niglo,” where they can meet the park’s beloved mascots, Niglo and Niglotte—an experience designed specifically with families in mind.
Sustainable “Cabaiana” Hotel to Open in April 2025
As part of the park’s commitment to sustainable development, the new “Cabaiana” hotel is scheduled to open in April 2025. Comprising 20 eco-friendly wooden cabins, this complex will feature A-level environmental certification. As a superior 4-star hotel, “Cabaiana” will provide accommodations for up to six people per cabin, offering a blend of comfort, space, and privacy for families and couples. Guests can look forward to a tranquil, nature-connected experience that harmonizes with the surrounding environment.
Nigloland as an Affordable, Family-Friendly Park
Rodolphe Gélis emphasized that Nigloland positions itself as an attractive and affordable family park in the heart of the Forêt d'Orient nature park. The park values eco-friendly offerings and continuously develops new ideas and services to provide guests with a unique and sustainable experience that respects and protects natural resources.
