On Monday, July 29, the 40th Kirtorf Holiday Games kicked off with an exciting trip to Movie Park Germany in Bottrop. Accompanied by 20 volunteer supervisors, 70 children set out in the early morning hours to experience an unforgettable day at one of Germany's most renowned amusement parks.

A Day Full of Adventure and Fun

The young participants were treated to an exhilarating program: from the thrilling Freefall Tower to the spectacular roller coaster The Bandit and the action-packed Iron Claw, Movie Park offered numerous attractions that excited everyone. A particular highlight of the day was the colorful parades featuring Spongebob and Paw Patrol, which delighted not only the children but also the supervisors.

High Spirits Despite Challenges

Although a traffic jam on the highway delayed the journey, the children and supervisors maintained their good spirits. The positive mood lasted throughout the day, and all participants thoroughly enjoyed the various rides and shows.

Happy Return and Exciting Plans Ahead

In the evening, the group returned to Kirtorf exhausted but happy, where parents warmly welcomed their tired but satisfied children. However, the adventures of the Holiday Games are far from over: the next day promises more exciting experiences with a thrilling detective hunt in and around Kirtorf.
