Under the theme “Christmas Like in the Movies,” Movie Park Germany presents a spectacular holiday event illuminated by over 800,000 lights, casting a festive glow across four themed areas. Building on the success of last year’s premiere, Movie Park has invested in new elements this season to bring even more magical moments to life. “Once again, holiday wishes will come true on the movie set,” promises CEO Thorsten Backhaus, emphasizing the park’s commitment to creating an authentic American holiday experience.

Shows and Entertainment for All Ages

This year’s “Movie Park’s Hollywood Christmas” offers guests more than ten entertainment moments specifically designed for the winter season. A highlight is the return of the winter show A Magical Christmas Tale, featuring well-known illusionist Christian Farla, who captivates audiences with a heartwarming Christmas story and dazzling illusions. Guests can also enjoy the expanded winter parade along Christmas Boulevard USA and Rockefeller Plaza, where beautifully decorated floats and costumed characters create a captivating spectacle. In the Western Saloon, visitors can meet Santa Claus and his helpers in Meet Santa & Friends, creating unique holiday memories for families.

Spectacular Fireworks and Light Show Finale by FOG Fireworks

Each event day concludes with an impressive finale that fills the sky with dazzling fire, laser, and light effects. Developed in partnership with FOG Fireworks, this new show offers a radiant end to a magical day in the park.

In the Kids Cookie Factory, children can decorate holiday cookies, while a 360-square-meter, covered ice-skating rink and a curling area provide winter fun. The Roxy 4-D Cinema presents the beloved holiday classic The Polar Express, transporting audiences into a winter fantasy. Additionally, selected American holiday treats add a flavorful touch to the festive experience.

Musical Performances and Movie Park’s Christmas Spectacular

On Rockefeller Plaza, a holiday-themed singing show invites guests to enjoy Christmas classics and sing along. The event lineup also includes the Movie Park’s Christmas Spectacular at Van Helsing’s Club, offering a cozy, weatherproof setting for music and entertainment in true holiday style.

Strolling the Santa Monica Pier and Winter Thrills on the Rides

For the first time, the “Santa Monica Pier” area opens for visitors, inviting them to enjoy a scenic holiday stroll and experience the park’s winter ambiance from a new perspective. For thrill-seekers, several attractions remain open during the winter season. Among these is the popular wooden roller coaster The Bandit, included in the winter lineup by popular request. Family-friendly rides are also open, while water attractions will remain closed due to weather conditions.
