Anticipation is building: Movie Park Germany is diligently finalizing preparations to reopen its gates on March 22nd. A large-scale maintenance effort ensures that all attractions are in top condition for the season to start. A behind-the-scenes look reveals the extent of the work.
Comprehensive maintenance ensures fun and safety.
Movie Park Germany is letting its fans in on the preparations: Instagram posts offer glimpses into the extensive maintenance work underway. Special attention is being paid to the popular water rides “Area 51 - Top Secret” and “Dora's Big River Adventure,” with their conveyor belts undergoing renewal. Additionally, the construction of the Dora attraction is receiving a rejuvenating sandblasting treatment.
Renovations and Technical Inspections in Focus
The park's attractions are undergoing various updates and checks: The “Avatar Air Glider” is due for a technical inspection, while “Zuma's Zoomers” is being equipped with a new drive chain. New seat cushions on the “Crazy Surfer” add extra comfort, and the “Ghost Chasers” roller coaster is getting new brakes and a track refresh. A highlight of the maintenance efforts is the near-complete dismantling of a train from the “Star Trek: Operation Enterprise” roller coaster.
Further refinements and farewell to attractions
In the workshops, technicians are meticulously working on the seats of the “Iron Claw” roller coaster. The wooden roller coaster “The Bandit” also sees the return of its cars, while refurbishment continues. However, two attractions, the “Back at the Barnyard Bumpers” bumper cars and the “Pier Patrol Jet-Ski” water carousel, will no longer be available at the start of the season. These changes are a testament to the park's dynamic development.
Ready for a New Adventure
The major maintenance at Movie Park Germany is an impressive undertaking. With the final touches nearly complete, visitors can look forward to a season full of exciting experiences and innovations.
