The Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with new, spectacular attractions. Starting August 9, 2024, guests can dive into a world of fright and fun.
Overview of the Event
On May 6, 2024, halfway to Halloween, Disney unveiled initial glimpses of this year's lineup for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This separately ticketed event takes place at Magic Kingdom Park and promises an extraordinary world of experiences for visitors of all ages.
New Costumes and Characters
One of the highlights this year are the brand-new costumes of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who will greet guests in a spectacular neon spiderweb outfit. The charismatic Disney icons thus set new standards for the party's design.
Special Attractions
The DescenDANCE Party, inspired by the new Disney movie "Descendants: The Rise of Red," will take place on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Visitors can dance to hits from the "Descendants" movies.
Meet-and-greet with Bruno Madrigal
Another novelty is the meet-and-greet with Bruno Madrigal from the popular film "Encanto," who, along with Mirabel, will be greeting guests in the Fairytale Garden.
New Start Times and Classics
This year, the "Boo-To-You" Halloween parade will start at 8:15 PM to facilitate participation by younger guests. In addition to the new features, beloved classics such as the "Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular" fireworks show and the "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular" remain part of the program.
Event dates and ticket information
The event begins on August 9 and continues on selected evenings until October 31, 2024. Ticket sales start on May 8 for guests staying at selected resort hotels and on May 15 for the public.
