“Cars” Experience: Two New Attractions Coming to Magic Kingdom

A New Area in Frontierland

First “Cars” Attraction: Rally Race

The exciting news was revealed during the “Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase” at D23, the ultimate Disney fan event. Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, announced the new attractions with support from Tow Mater via video call. In his speech, D’Amaro emphasized the significance of the American West as an inspiration and praised the new attractions as yet another way to experience the magic of Disney.

Construction Start and Outlook

Construction for the new attractions is set to begin in early 2025. This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Frontierland and the entire Magic Kingdom Park. Visitors can already look forward to the grand openings and the opportunity to experience their favorite characters from “Cars” in a whole new setting.
