This year in October, LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort opens its gates for a very special spectacle: the “Brick or Treat” event. The highlight is the unveiling of a gigantic pumpkin, composed of a total of 50,350 LEGO® bricks. This extraordinary model presentation marks the beginning of a series of celebrations that will continue until November 5.
A Special Task: The “Pumpkin Patrol”
Amid the “Brick or Treat” activities, a team of model builders, self-dubbed “The Pumpkin Patrol,” will play a crucial role. This group of experienced experts will be responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing hundreds of LEGO® pumpkins of all shapes and sizes throughout the event.The “Pumpkin Patrol” had the honorable task of installing and unveiling the colossal LEGO® pumpkin. This impressive work of art was created by a team of model builders based outside the resort, dedicating a total of 250 hours to its construction.
Family-Friendly Attractions and Activities
Will Saunders, a dedicated model builder at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, emphasizes the family-friendly nature of the event: “Halloween is an excellent opportunity for spooky family fun.” The “Brick or Treat” event offers a plethora of activities including live shows, rides, and various themed attractions all centered around the autumnal and Halloween theme.Resort visitors during the “Brick or Treat” event have a unique chance to witness the “Pumpkin Patrol” at work live.
