The attraction combines a variety of living marine animals with intricately detailed LEGO® creatures, meticulously assembled from 240,000 LEGO® bricks. The resort’s expert model builders dedicated a total of 2,190 hours to crafting this vibrant underwater setting.

Among the live marine residents returning to the attraction are Squeak the zebra shark, Pablo the Blackchin Guitarfish, and Homer the Southern stingray, all settling back into their newly enhanced habitat. The experience is further enriched by impressive LEGO® creations, including a towering octopus, vividly colored crabs, and a mysterious treasure chest.

Underwater Photographer Jenny Stock Captures the Attraction’s Transformation

One of the highlights of this reopening is the collaboration with acclaimed underwater photographer Jenny Stock, the first woman to win the title British Underwater Photographer of the Year. She joined the team of aquarists to document the revamped LEGO® models before the attraction’s grand reopening.

Using her state-of-the-art underwater camera, previously employed on expeditions across the globe, Jenny captured breathtaking images of the “Under the Sea”-themed LEGO® models in their immersive new setting. She also worked alongside Rosie David, the lead aquarist, who applied the final touches to the meticulously crafted underwater structures.

Jenny expressed her excitement about being part of this unique project, emphasizing that her fascination with marine life started in childhood and has only deepened through her work as a photographer. She sees this project as the perfect combination of her passion for ocean life, creativity, and her desire to share this wonder with others.
