Legoland New York unveils an exciting addition to its park with the opening of the Minifigure Skyflyer on June 24. This gondola ride not only promises convenient transportation between the park's themed areas but also offers a unique disco experience. Like the elevators in a Legoland hotel, the gondolas are equipped with Lego disco balls and a dance floor.
Innovative Transportation in the Park
The introduction of the Minifigure Skyflyer comes in response to guests' wishes for more convenient ways to move within the park. Stephanie Johnson, Divisional Director of Legoland New York, emphasizes: “The Minifigure Skyflyer offers an exciting solution that sparks creativity, stimulates imagination, and provides the best views of all the exciting events in the park and the scenic Hudson Valley surroundings from above.”
World Record Attempt at the Opening
To celebrate the opening, the amusement park is planning a record-breaking disco dance party. To participate in this extraordinary event, the first 2,500 guests must register online and appear at 8:30 AM on June 24 in sparkling disco-themed outfits. Admission is free for these participants. The event aims to set the world record for the largest disco dance party.
