Opening with Exclusive Perks for First Visitors
The new store will launch on Saturday, April 5, offering a special treat for early arrivals. The first 10 people in line will get to explore the store before anyone else and take home a LEGO Titanic-Box (#10294) at no cost. “Soon, we’ll open the world’s largest LEGO store here in Billund, and that calls for a celebration,” says Niels Birkelund Hansen, Retail Director at LEGOLAND. He adds that the first visitors will receive a fantastic gift and enjoy the new store’s offerings firsthand.
Creative Highlights on Opening Day
Opening day promises a burst of creativity for visitors. Guests will have the chance to build their own LEGO® F1® steering wheel to keep. From 10:00 to 14:00, a LEGOLAND LEGO model builder will share top tips, tricks, and techniques. Plus, anyone purchasing a LEGO or LEGOLAND product will receive a free LEGO DreamZzz teddy bear while supplies last. “The opening day will be a special event, bringing months of excitement and high expectations to a peak,” shares Niels Birkelund Hansen.
Year-Round Attractions for All Guests
The world’s largest LEGO® store will offer ongoing creative experiences. In the “Minifigure Factory,” visitors can design their own LEGO minifigure with exclusive designs unique to Billund. The “LEGO Mosaic Maker” transforms personal photos into LEGO mosaics. Whether visiting on opening day or later in the season, guests of all ages can let their imaginations run wild with the store’s new activities.
Key Information for Early Visitors
To be among the first 10 guests, a valid LEGOLAND® Billund ticket for April 5 is required. The LEGO Titanic-Box and exclusive access are limited to one per person. Sharing spots in line isn’t allowed, and the queue can only be briefly left for essentials like restroom visits, with toilets available near the park entrance.
