Today, May 10, 2024, LEGOLAND Billund officially opens the doors to the world's first LEGO® florist shop, “Florist,” introducing an innovative addition to the park that brings the popular pick-and-build concept to the world of floristry.
Launch of the LEGO® Florist Shop
In the heart of LEGOLAND Billund, a novel attraction was unveiled today: the LEGO® florist shop “Florist.” As the first of its kind globally, this shop allows visitors to create individual floral arrangements from LEGO®. This expands the previous offering of pick-and-build options, which enabled guests to choose from various LEGO® bricks to create their own designs.
Unique LEGO® Elements and Collections
The Florist offers an extensive range, including the LEGO® Botanical and LEGO® Creator series. Visitors can purchase sets from these series to take home. A highlight of the new shop is the availability of 25 unique LEGO® elements specially developed for creating LEGO® flowers. This innovation allows park guests to realize their creative ideas and design personalized floral arrangements.
Location and Previous Attractions
The florist shop “Florist” has been established in the area of the former “Name On It” attraction in LEGOREDO® Town, which has now moved to Knights Kingdom. This change brings a breath of fresh air to the park and sets new creative accents in LEGOLAND’s offerings.
Comment from Niels Birkelund Hansen
Niels Birkelund Hansen, Retail Director at LEGOLAND, expressed his enthusiasm about the new opening: “We are thrilled to welcome our guests to our new, vibrant LEGO® florist shop. Introducing the world’s first pick-and-build system for flowers highlights our spirit of innovation and offers an entirely new type of interaction for our visitors.”
