LEGOLAND® Billund is ringing in the Halloween season with a spooky Monster Party. From October 3 to November 3, 2024, visitors can enjoy various frightful attractions, from massive LEGO® pumpkins to the popular V.I.M. Monstershow. LEGOLAND® monsters were also spotted downtown in Kolding, preparing for the festivities.
Halloween Monster Party Brings Spooky Fun
LEGOLAND® Billund transforms into a spooky amusement paradise during the Halloween season. From October 3 to November 3, 2024, the “Halloween Monster Party” takes center stage, with LEGOLAND®'s favorite characters acting as hosts. Visitors will be greeted by giant LEGO® pumpkins throughout the park, creating an impressive atmosphere. The Brick or Treat Path promises encounters with quirky monsters and offers numerous candy stations for kids to enjoy.
The V.I.M. Monstershow: A Family Favorite
Another highlight of the season is the expanded V.I.M. Monstershow. Presented in both Danish and English, the show takes place in the Miniburg at Knights Kingdom. LEGOLAND® characters like Lord Vampyre and Wolfguy lead an exciting Halloween performance, blending music, dance, and special effects. With fog, lighting effects, and dancers, the show creates an unforgettable atmosphere that immerses the audience in the world of monsters. The show runs daily throughout the Halloween season.
LEGOLAND® Monsters Spotted on a Shopping Trip
Unusual scenes recently took place at Kolding Storcenter, where LEGOLAND® characters like Mummies and Monster Rocker were spotted finishing up their preparations for the Halloween season. Their shopping trip drew attention from passersby as they picked up Halloween decorations, music equipment, and pumpkins. Monster Rocker even got himself a stylish new bow tie, while the mummy stocked up on toilet paper, of course.
Pumpkin Gallery: Build LEGO® Pumpkins and Break Records
Visitors are also invited to showcase their creativity in the Pumpkin Gallery, where they can build their own LEGO® pumpkins to contribute to the world's largest LEGO® pumpkin patch. Last year, guests managed to build 6,863 pumpkins, and this year, LEGOLAND® hopes to break that record. The Pumpkin Gallery is open throughout the entire Halloween season.
Excited visitors meet Halloween Characters
Camilla Burkal Vaaben and her son Patrick had the chance to meet the LEGOLAND® monsters while shopping. The pair described the encounter as entertaining and surprising, as the monsters interacted with shoppers and spread Halloween cheer. This kind of entertainment only heightens anticipation for the upcoming Halloween Party at LEGOLAND®.
LEGOLAND® Billund Decorated for Halloween Fun
More than 12,000 real pumpkins adorn the park, enhancing the authentic Halloween atmosphere. The V.I.M. Dance Party and the Brick or Treat Path offer daily shows and interactive experiences for the entire family. These events run throughout the fall holidays, with additional dates in October and November.
Helgi Sigurdsson, Event & Entertainment Manager at LEGOLAND®, expressed his excitement for the Halloween season: “The V.I.M. Dance Party was a giant hit last year, and we're excited to bring this special experience back for this season.”
