Season Start: PEPPA PIG Park Günzburg Delights with a Colorful Experience

The PEPPA PIG Park Günzburg officially opens its doors on May 19, 2024, offering preschoolers and their families a unique experience. With colorful attractions, playgrounds, and shows, the world of Peppa Pig comes to life.

A Colorful Welcome at PEPPA PIG Park Günzburg

At the entrance of the new PEPPA PIG Park in Günzburg, a nearly 10-meter tall rainbow portal welcomes visitors. Just behind it, a vibrant world unfolds with attractions and playgrounds designed specifically for young Peppa fans. Highlights include rides in Daddy Pig's red car and a visit to the yellow house on the green hill.

Exclusive Pre-Opening Insights

Two days before the official opening, Scott O'Neil, CEO of Merlin Entertainments, and Manuela Stone, Managing Director of PEPPA PIG Park, along with Matt Proulx from Hasbro, offered exclusive insights into the 1.6-hectare park. Kindergarten children from the region were the first to explore the five child-friendly rides and seven themed playgrounds.

Age-Appropriate Experiences for the Youngest

Emilie and her friends had exciting moments on the roller coaster during the opening. The park offers activities tailored to the needs of preschoolers. The first roller coaster ride is possible for children as small as 95 cm when accompanied by their parents. For refreshments, Mrs. Rabbit's Diner and a milkshake stand cater to the guests.

Celebrating 20 Years of Peppa Pig Success

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Peppa Pig brand, Germany's first standalone PEPPA PIG Park was opened. Scott O'Neil highlighted the importance of the partnership with Hasbro and the joy of bringing Peppa Pig to life in Europe. Manuela Stone emphasized the hard work of the team that completed the park just in time for the Pentecost holidays.

Fun Rides and Shows for the Whole Family

In addition to rides and playgrounds, the park also features a cinema and a stage for shows and “Meet & Greets” with Peppa and her family. Matt Proulx from Hasbro expressed his excitement about opening the first standalone PEPPA PIG Park in Europe and providing new experiences for fans.

LEGO® DUPLO® PEPPA PIG Play Zone and More Adventures

The themed playgrounds in the park are varied, featuring Peppa's Treehouse, Grandpa Dog's Sandpit, and George's Castle. A highlight is the LEGO® DUPLO® PEPPA PIG Play Zone, where children can recreate stories with their favorite characters. The event stage offers four daily shows with Mr. Potato, followed by “Meet & Greets” with the Pig family.

This comprehensive program centered around Peppa Pig is available daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM until the season ends on November 3.
