Amid a whirl of emotions and a flurry of confetti, a unique celebration took place at LEGOLAND® Germany on Austria's recent National Day. Two young visitors, 9-year-old Sophia and 7-year-old Jakob from Innsbruck, made history as they stepped in as the 30-millionth visitors of the amusement resort.

An Unexpected Welcome at the Park Entrance

The family from Innsbruck had a simple expectation: a relaxing day at LEGOLAND, enjoying the joys of the Monster-Party for Halloween. Yet, destiny had more in store for them. Manuela Stone, the CEO of the LEGOLAND® Germany Resort, along with the park's mascot, Olli the Dragon, and a group of enthusiastic employees, prepared a reception for the kids that they'll remember forever.

Expressing her surprise, Christina, the children's mother, stated: "We never expected such a reception. This will surely remain a lifetime highlight. Thank you, LEGOLAND!"

30 Seconds to Remember: The Shop Run

Following the formal greeting, the family was invited to a special event: the Shop Run in the LEGOLAND City Shop. Here, aligning with their 30-millionth guest status, Sophia and Jakob had 30 seconds to load up on as many LEGO sets as they could carry. From Hogwarts™ Castles to NINJAGO® sets, no shelf was left untouched.

The young Jakob's eyes sparkled as he showcased his haul: "This castle is amazing!" And his mother added, "This truly feels like a dream."

A Milestone for LEGOLAND

Such a special event underscores how LEGOLAND® Germany has been enchanting its visitors since its inauguration in May 2002. The CEO, Manuela Stone, shared her sentiments: "Celebrating such a milestone and witnessing so many joyous moments is a privilege. It's this kind of enthusiasm that drives us to constantly deliver our best to our guests."

WinterWonder LEGOLAND: A New Era Begins

But that's not all. LEGOLAND Germany's news isn't over just yet. Starting November 24th, the Günzburg resort will also open its doors during the winter, introducing "WinterWonder LEGOLAND". With unique roller coaster rides through wintery landscapes and special event highlights, the resort promises an exceptional festive season.
