LEGOLAND® Germany 2025 Season Start: Events & Highlights

In Günzburg, Bavaria, LEGOLAND® Germany will kick off its 2025 season on April 5 and 6 with a lineup of adventure-packed experiences. Roller coaster thrills, LEGO® fun, and the park’s most extensive event calendar ever will await visitors. Right at the opening, characters like Santa Claus and Frankenstein will meet, setting the stage for unforgettable family moments.

Season Opening with LEGO® Characters and Easter Event

The season will launch on the weekend of April 5 and 6, 2025. Visitors will encounter a host of LEGO® characters from the year’s events and shows, including Officer Duke Detain and Hopsy, the life-sized LEGO® Duplo bunny. These exclusive meet-and-greets will offer unique photo opportunities as Santa Claus stands side by side with Frankenstein. From April 12 to 27, the Easter event in MINILAND will take place during the Bavarian Easter holidays. Families will team up to build the largest LEGO® Easter nest ever. Die Honigkuchenpferde will perform on April 12, while herrH will bring lively tunes for all ages on April 26. The popular “Minifiguren Tausch” will let guests swap their own LEGO® minifigures with park staff, creating lasting memories.

LEGO® Festival: Play Takes Center Stage

Every weekend in May and daily during the Bavarian Whitsun holidays, the LEGO® Festival will celebrate a must-visit event tied to World Play Day, in partnership with the LEGO® Group and Merlin Entertainments. Five interactive zones will captivate visitors of all ages. The Creative Zone, led by LEGO® Master Model Builder Alec Posta, will showcase new building techniques and exciting challenges. The Dance and Music Zone will pulse with beats to get the dance floor moving, while the Gaming Zone will focus on digital construction. The Chill-out Zone will provide a relaxing break amid colorful LEGO® Botanicals, complemented by additional hands-on activities and new characters. “We’re joining seven LEGOLAND® parks worldwide—from Denmark to the USA and Korea—to celebrate the first global LEGO® Festival,” says Manuela Stone, Managing Director of LEGOLAND® Germany Resort. In Germany, the event will extend beyond Whitsun into June, offering families a fresh way to engage with LEGO® play.

Action-Packed LEGO® City Summer Show

From July 5 to September 14, the LEGO® Arena will host the new LEGO® City Sommershow. Officer Duke DeTain and the No Limits Team will chase a stolen USB stick loaded with critical data. Motorcycle stunts, skateboard tricks, and zipline escapes will keep the tension high as the thieves dodge capture. Set against a backdrop of over 57 million LEGO® bricks and 68 attractions, this adrenaline-fueled spectacle will grip audiences from start to finish.

Long Nights and Halloween Monster Party

On three Saturdays in August, “Summer in the City” will extend park hours until 10 p.m. Live music in MINILAND will entertain guests, while visitors collaborate with Adult Fans of LEGO® to construct a real LEGO® City metropolis. A massive fireworks display will light up the summer nights in vibrant colors. In autumn, the Halloween Monster Party will bring interactive, family-friendly frights. On October 31, the band Heavysaurus will rock the stage with their electrifying heavy metal tunes, thrilling both young and old fans. Extended Saturday hours will heighten the spooky fun after dark.

WinterWonder and PEPPA PIG Park

From November 28 to January 6, WinterWonder LEGOLAND® will shine on weekends and holidays with twinkling lights, a dazzling laser show, a daily winter parade, and a 10-meter-tall LEGO® DUPLO® Christmas tree. Just steps away, the PEPPA PIG Park will welcome a new baby to the Wutz family starting in summer. Young and old Peppa fans will meet the little one in person and enjoy new dances with Familie Wutz, plus exclusive themed events for Easter, Mother’s Day, and Halloween. Hands-on activities, meet-and-greets with Peppa and friends, creative play areas, and kid-friendly rides like Papa Wutz‘ Achterbahn will enrich the second season. Two new annual pass options, tailored to family needs, will let fans visit Peppa every day.

Overnight Adventures in the Holiday Village

The LEGOLAND® Feriendorf will enhance the experience with imaginative stays in LEGOLAND® Burgen, the Pirateninsel Hotel, the NINJAGO® Quartier, and the new Waldabenteuer Lodge™. At the Waldabenteuer Lodge™, kids will explore the LEGO® animal world indoors and out, while themed rooms inspire dreams of the next day’s adventures.
