The LEGOLAND® Germany Resort is on the verge of a historic event: For the first time in its history, the park will open its doors for a winter season. Starting on November 24, 2023, the resort kicks off the season under the theme “WinterWonder LEGOLAND,” transforming into an enchanting winter wonderland, welcoming families from around the world.

Transformation into a Winter Paradise

In just three weeks, the dedicated team of LEGOLAND® Germany has accomplished a remarkable transformation. The autumnal pumpkins and Halloween figures made way for festive light chains and over a thousand Christmas trees. A spectacular highlight is the 10-meter-high LEGO® DUPLO Christmas tree, a masterpiece made of 365,000 LEGO bricks, leaving visitors in awe.

A Diverse Winter Program for the Whole Family

WinterWonder LEGOLAND offers an extensive program that provides excitement as well as contemplative moments. Visitors can look forward to a magical winter village, an ice-skating rink, and the magical, winter MINILAND. The park's roller coasters remain operational, adding thrill to the experience.

Festive Events and Shows

The winter opening is enriched with various events and shows. These include impressive music performances and a laser show. A special highlight is the “Lighting the Tree” ceremony, where the LEGO DUPLO tree is illuminated in a festive display of lights. Manuela Stone, Managing Director of LEGOLAND Germany, emphasizes the uniqueness of this moment and the joyful reactions of families.

Encounters with Santa Claus

An extraordinary attraction is the visit of Santa Claus, who this year sets up his camp in MINILAND. Here, young guests have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus in person and receive LEGO surprises. Appointments for this exclusive experience can be booked via the park's website.

A Wintry Experience at the LEGOLAND Holiday Village

Not just the park itself, but also the adjoining LEGOLAND Holiday Village welcomes guests with winter decorations. The thematically designed castles offer the overnight guests a 24-hour winter wonderland experience.

Conclusion: A Magical Winter Adventure

WinterWonder LEGOLAND is not just a seasonal attraction but a magical experience that captures the hearts of both young and old. With its combination of festive atmosphere, interactive shows, and exciting rides, it provides the perfect setting for unforgettable winter moments. Further information on the events and shows can be found on the official website www.LEGOLAND.de/winter-events/.
