LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort surprised its summer guests with an unexpected Christmas celebration in August. As park mascot Olli the Dragon hummed Christmas carols and handed out gifts, visitors got a sneak peek at the upcoming WinterWonder LEGOLAND, set to open its doors on November 23, 2024.

A Christmas Surprise in the Middle of Summer

On August 24, 2024, visitors to LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort were taken by surprise when they encountered festive Christmas characters during their summer visit. Olli the Dragon, accompanied by elves, a LEGO® Santa Claus, and a toy soldier, brought Christmas cheer to the park, much to the delight and astonishment of the summer guests. This unique event spread joy and sparked excitement for the upcoming WinterWonder season.

WinterWonder LEGOLAND: A Magical Winter Experience

Starting November 23, 2024, WinterWonder LEGOLAND will transform the park into a winter wonderland. Over 100 beautifully decorated Christmas trees, including an impressive 10-meter-tall LEGO DUPLO® tree made of 365,000 pieces, will adorn the grounds. Highlights include the Winter Parade, which will wind its way through the snowy MINILAND, past an ice rink and a winter village, and culminate in a spectacular laser show after sunset.

In addition to the festive decorations, guests can look forward to enjoying numerous attractions, both indoors and outdoors. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, WinterWonder LEGOLAND offers various shows and the opportunity to take in the wintery view from the LEGOLAND observation tower.
