In the early hours of April 16th, a spectacular break-in occurred at Holiday Park in Haßloch, where two masked culprits forcefully entered the premises, causing approximately 100,000 euros in damages.
Event and Time Frame
During the night from Monday to Tuesday, between 00:27 and 03:30 AM, two unknown masked perpetrators broke into Holiday Park. They initially overcame the park’s external security barriers.
Perpetrators' Method
The criminals specifically targeted roller shutters, sales areas, as well as cash registers and machines designated for drinks and skill games. Their approach was targeted and efficient, suggesting they might be familiar with the park's layout.
Stolen Items
The perpetrators stole various items, including Amazon gift cards and a special controller for a Nintendo gaming console. While these items have significant material value, the total material and immaterial damage to the park is much greater.
Investigations and Call for Witnesses
The Neustadt/Weinstraße criminal police have commenced investigations and are requesting public assistance. Witnesses who have made suspicious observations or can provide information about the incident or the culprits are asked to come forward.
Security Considerations
The break-in raises questions regarding the park's nighttime security measures. It remains unclear whether security personnel were on site at the time of the break-in. This may lead to a review and possible reinforcement of security measures.
