The Familypark, Austria’s largest amusement park, will open its gates on April 5, 2025, for a new season filled with adventure. Alongside a diverse event calendar, visitors can look forward to a culinary highlight starting mid-July: the new Filippo’s Restaurant, designed in a medieval castle style.
Season Kickoff with a Fresh Dining Experience
On April 5, 2025, the Familypark will launch its new season, ending the long wait for eager guests. A major highlight will be the opening of Filippo’s Restaurant, expected around mid-July. Spanning over 700 m², the restaurant features a spacious terrace and seating for 460 guests, setting a new standard for park dining. Construction of its medieval-style interior is currently progressing swiftly. The venue will also include an indoor children’s play area, a nursing room, and a separate space for corporate events. While there won’t be a new ride in 2025, we’re proud to offer a completely new gastronomic experience with Filippo’s Restaurant, featuring diverse cuisine and a unique atmosphere from mid-July.”2025 Event Calendar: Fun for All Ages
The Familypark will captivate guests in 2025 with a varied lineup catering to all tastes. The Easter Festival, running from April 19 to 21, will transform the park into a springtime wonderland. Stilt walkers, face painting, magic shows, and an exciting puzzle game will entertain visitors, with park mascot Filippo and the Easter Bunny joining the celebration. The Sonnwendfest, held from June 19 to 22, will extend park hours until 8 p.m. to honor the longest days of the year. A lively stage program, creative walking acts, and live music will create a festive vibe. Filippo’s Summer Party, scheduled for July 19 and 26, as well as August 2 and 9, will feature performances, street acts, and music, inviting families to dance, laugh, and celebrate.The season will close with a spooky twist. The Halloween Warm-up from October 17 to 19 will kick off the eerie festivities. During Halloween, from October 24 to November 2, the park will stay open daily until 9 p.m. Spectacular shows in a grand circus tent, two haunted houses, a rocking Halloween parade, and eerie entertainment on the Römer-Bühne will deliver thrills aplenty.
