It was a breathtaking moment for German dance! The young talents of "2K.UP" from TALENT ACADEMY Europa-Park stormed the UDO World Championships in Blackpool, UK, and secured the coveted world champion title in the "Under 16 – Beginner" category. Facing fierce competition from 24 dynamic crews, this was no easy feat. And that's not all: "The K. Crew" also showcased impressive skills, securing a proud 4th place in the "Under 16 – Advanced" category.
Emotions ran high when Katja Mack, the dynamic founder of TALENT ACADEMY, unexpectedly appeared in Blackpool to support her teams with enthusiasm. "Witnessing these children grow, evolve, and celebrate such impressive successes touches me deeply," she shared.
Led by the dedicated Coach "The K.", the teams delivered a performance that will be remembered for a long time. The remarkable choreography, combined with their passion, impressed not only the jury but also the audience. This victory was no surprise to those who had already witnessed their stunning performance at the German UDO Championships in April. After their triumphant return to Rust, a warm welcome and a special tribute awaited them in the brand new TALENT ACADEMY, which will officially open its doors on September 8th.
The UDO World Championships are a true celebration for street dance enthusiasts, drawing dance lovers from all over the world year after year. Since its inception in 2002, UDO has always aimed to provide dancers from all backgrounds with a stage to shine.
For all dance enthusiasts, there's exciting news: On the open day of TALENT ACADEMY, you can witness this world-class talent live. Be there!
