From March 27 to 30, 2025, the TALENT ACADEMY of Europa-Park excelled at the German Ballet Competition in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich. Two dance groups earned qualifications for the international World Dance Contest in Fréjus, South France, set to take place from June 17 to 22, 2025.
Performance Crew Shines at German Ballet Competition
The Performance Crew from TALENT ACADEMY impressed the judges with their dance “Save your Soul” in the category Adult Large Group - Jazz and Show Dance. They scored 85.3 out of 100 points, securing 1st place. This victory earned the group from Rust a spot at the “Concurso Mundial de Danza” in Fréjus. Led by coach Franziska Wolf, who crafted the choreography, the crew showcased exceptional skill. Only the top dancers from regional qualifiers across Germany competed in this prestigious event, making their achievement stand out.
Duo Ella Neumann and Hennes Gutmair Earn Qualification
The duo Ella Neumann and Hennes Gutmair also shone brightly. Performing “We are one” in the Junior Duet - Modern and Contemporary Dance category, they achieved 79.7 points and took 3rd place. This result qualified them for the World Dance Contest 2025 in South France. Choreographed again by Franziska Wolf, their performance highlighted the TALENT ACADEMY’s versatility. Like the Performance Crew, they advanced through tough regional preliminaries to reach this national stage.
Next Stop: World Dance Contest in Fréjus
With these successes at the German Ballet Competition, the TALENT ACADEMY demonstrates its high quality and passion for dance. The qualification for the World Dance Contest marks a significant milestone for the dancers from Rust. From June 17 to 22, 2025, they will compete against international talent in Fréjus. Preparations for this major event are already underway, with the Academy eagerly anticipating the challenge.
TALENT ACADEMY: A Hub of Creativity Since 2014
Founded in 2014 by Katja Mack, the TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park offers people of all ages a space to explore their talents in Dance, Acrobatics, Music, Art, and Mindset. Spanning 2,000 m², the facility hosts over 100 weekly courses led by around 40 internationally certified coaches. Nearly 400 members use this inspiring venue to bring their creative ideas to life, serving as a vibrant hub for children, teens, and adults alike.
