The TALENT ACADEMY of Europa-Park successfully qualified for the German Championship at the regional competition in Offenburg on February 16, 2025. Participants impressed with outstanding performances in categories such as classical ballet, lyrical, national dance and folklore, modern and contemporary dance, jazz dance and show dance, hip hop and street dance, as well as singing and dance. The Performance Crew - Contemporary Dance and the junior duo Ella Neumann and Hennes Gutmair achieved particularly remarkable placements. The German Ballet Championship in Munich marks an important milestone on the path to the international World Dance Contest in southern France.
Success Across the Board: TALENT ACADEMY Delivers Outstanding Performances
At the qualification competition for the German Championship, numerous dance groups and solo performers from Germany and Switzerland competed against each other. The Performance Crew - Contemporary Dance won first place in the "Adult Large Group, Jazz Show Dance" category with their choreography "Save your Soul" and also achieved the highest score of the day among all participating groups with 95 out of 100 points. This outstanding achievement highlights the high quality of training provided at the TALENT ACADEMY.
Impressive Rankings and Close Results
In addition to the great success of the Performance Crew, the junior duo Ella Neumann and Hennes Gutmair secured second place in the "Junior Duet / Trio Modern" category with their performance "We Are One." With a total score of 90.67 points, they missed first place by only 0.3 points. Both groups will now compete at the German Championship in Munich under the guidance of their coach Franziska Wolf, who choreographed their demanding routines. The competition was fierce, but the dancers of TALENT ACADEMY demonstrated their skill and dedication with impressive performances.
The German Ballet Championship as a Gateway to the World Championships
The German Championship, taking place from March 27 to 30, 2025, in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, is the largest ballet competition in Germany. The best talents from the regional competitions will compete here. The winners will have the opportunity to qualify for the World Dance Contest in the summer in southern France. The continued success of TALENT ACADEMY once again confirms the high quality of its courses and the professional training offered to its participants. The competition serves as a crucial platform for young dancers to present themselves internationally and enhance their career prospects.
A Hub for Creativity and Talent Development
Founded in 2014 by Katja Mack, the TALENT ACADEMY offers much more than classical dance lessons. It is a creative hub that fosters talent in the areas of dance, acrobatics, music, art, and mindset. The approximately 400 members benefit from over 100 weekly courses led by nearly 40 certified coaches. On a space of more than 2,000 m², talent development is pursued at the highest level. Regular shows, competitions, and events provide participants with the opportunity to showcase their skills to a wide audience. The hands-on training enables dancers to continually develop and gain valuable stage experience.
