An International Dance Event in Rust

From August 14 to 18, 2024, the TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park Rust became a melting pot of dance cultures. The first World of Dance Camp in Europe brought together nearly 300 participants from 19 different countries, including China, the USA, and Venezuela. Under the patronage of the American organization World of Dance, a globally renowned brand, participants had the rare opportunity to enhance their dance skills and be inspired by leading choreographers.

Diverse Course Offerings for All Ages

The dance camp offered a wide range of courses suitable for both adults and young dancers. The MAIN CAMP featured approximately 50 classes where participants could explore Contemporary Dance, Commercial Choreography, and Heels Dance. The JUNIOR CAMP was specifically designed for younger dance enthusiasts, offering 24 courses in Contemporary Dance and Commercial Choreography led by 12 instructors, ensuring the best possible training for the young dancers.

Choreographers and Dance Experts from Around the World

The World of Dance Camp attracted leading choreographers and dancers from 12 countries to Rust. Over 30 representatives of the international dance scene shared their knowledge and passion, creating an inspiring learning environment. This international participation highlighted the importance and prestige of the event within the global dance community.

An Unforgettable Finale at Europa-Park

In addition to the intensive dance sessions, the camp participants had the opportunity to explore Europa-Park with its 17 European-themed areas. The camp concluded with the All Styles Battles on Sunday at “Das Studio” in Europa-Park, where many dance enthusiasts competed. The winners were awarded free entry to next year’s World of Dance Camp.

Praise from World of Dance Executives

The founders of World of Dance, David Gonzalez and Michael McGinn, traveled from Los Angeles to accompany the event in Rust. Both expressed their enthusiasm for the organization and execution of the camp, as well as the innovative concept of the TALENT ACADEMY. The event at Europa-Park exceeded their expectations and confirmed the success of the first European edition of the World of Dance Camp.

Continuing Next Year

Given the great success and positive feedback, the organizers have already announced the next World of Dance Camp, scheduled to take place again at the TALENT ACADEMY in Europa-Park from August 13 to 17, 2025. The mission of the World of Dance to promote dance culture and inspire participants to develop aligns perfectly with the vision of the TALENT ACADEMY, which aims to nurture talents in dance, acrobatics, music, art, and mindset.
