Despite a gloomy weather forecast, the “einfach laufen für einfach helfen” event drew numerous visitors to Europa-Park on Sunday. The 14th edition, organized by “Einfach helfen e.V.” and Naturzentrum Rheinauen, proved a resounding success. Participants supported a worthy cause while enjoying a memorable day.
14th Edition Shines in Anniversary Year
The 14th “einfach laufen für einfach helfen” event took place on Sunday and once again impressed attendees. Mauritia Mack, chairwoman of “Einfach helfen e.V.,” and the Mack family, owners of Europa-Park, celebrated the successful collaboration with Naturzentrum Rheinauen of the Rust community during this anniversary year. Although the weather forecast had predicted unfavorable conditions, Petrus blessed the event with good weather, attracting a large crowd eager to hit the trail.
Prominent Kickoff and Strong Support
The event kicked off with Mauritia Mack, Europa-Park owner Jürgen Mack, deputy mayor Karl-Heinz Debacher, and Alexander Schindler from Naturzentrum Rheinauen in attendance. Mauritia Mack praised the experienced “Rangerinnen” Lioba Metz and Ludwina Geiger, who led the group with confidence. She expressed gratitude to all involved for their dedication and highlighted the trusted partnership with the Rust community. The two seasoned guides ensured participants navigated the route safely and enthusiastically.
Coffee and Cake in a Unique Atmosphere
The Saloon in Silver Lake City at Europa-Park quickly filled with guests savoring coffee and cake in a distinctive setting on Sunday afternoon. Visitors relished the chance to catch up with old friends or make new connections. Volunteers from “Einfach helfen e.V.” worked tirelessly at the counter to serve everyone. Thanks to Bäckerei Käufer from Ettenheim, a wide variety of cakes and pastries delighted attendees, enhancing the afternoon’s enjoyment.

Since its founding in the summer of 2008, “Einfach helfen e.V.” has supported individuals in the region facing hardship due to serious illness.
