The Science Days at the Europa-Park Confertainment Center once again attracted thousands of science enthusiasts. Theresa Schopper, Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports of Baden-Württemberg, was among the distinguished guests of the event. She experienced not just the pulsating heartbeat of innovation but also the unwavering commitment to advancing science and technology.

25 Years of Commitment to Science

This year marked a special milestone for the Science Days and their organizers. While the association "Science & Technology e.V." celebrated its silver anniversary, the Science Days took place in Europa-Park for the 22nd time. Over three days, 93 interactive booths offered visitors a deep dive into fields such as education, research, industry, and economics.

Schopper: Experiencing Science Firsthand Makes the Difference

The Minister from Baden-Württemberg, Theresa Schopper, expressed her admiration for the diversity and quality of the exhibition. "Science truly becomes a captivating experience when witnessed firsthand and in its vibrant entirety," Schopper noted. Her words underscored the importance of hands-on experiences, especially in a region where innovation and progress are held in high regard.

A Partnership that Yields Results

Jürgen Mack, owner of Europa-Park, highlighted the close bond that has developed between the amusement park and the science event over the years. "Hosting the Science Days has not only become a staple in our annual calendar but also reflects the shared values between science, technology, and our family business," Mack stated.

Target Audience: Curious Minds of All Ages

The Science Days offer much more than just an event for students and teachers. The three-day program, which took place from October 19th to 21st, catered to a diverse age range. From inquisitive nine-year-olds to keen seniors, there was something for everyone.

Stephanie Bürklin, Project Manager of the Science Days, aptly summarized the core aim of the event: "Our mission 'Grasping STEM with us' is about inspiring young people and providing them with a clear direction in the world of science and technology."

Looking Forward

With such pioneering events, Baden-Württemberg consistently reinforces its position as an innovative hub in Europe. A blend of commitment, hands-on experience, and scientific curiosity ensures that the Science Days will continue to be a shining example of how education and enthusiasm can go hand in hand.
