SC Freiburg at Europa-Park: A Special Team Adventure

Following an intense start to the Bundesliga season, the players of SC Freiburg found time for a well-deserved break. On August 27, 2024, part of the team, including Ritsu Doan, Lucas Höler, Junior Adamu, Daniel Kofi Kyereh, and Florent Muslija, spent a relaxing day at Europa-Park. The visit to Germany’s largest amusement park provided the players with a welcome change from their usual training routine.

High Adrenaline on the Multi Launch Coaster “Voltron Nevera”

The players kicked off their visit to Europa-Park with a thrilling ride on the new Multi Launch Coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac.” Known for its impressive acceleration and exhilarating turns, this attraction captivated the football stars, delivering adrenaline rushes they won't soon forget.

Refreshing Fun on the Water Rides

After the excitement of “Voltron Nevera,” the players sought some refreshment on the park's popular water attractions. First up was the “Tiroler Wildwasserbahn,” a classic log flume ride that provided plenty of splashes and laughter. Next, they took on the spectacular water coaster “Atlantica SuperSplash,” which thrilled them with its combination of speed and water fun.

Florent Muslija and His Special Connection to “Whale Adventures - Northern Lights”

For Florent Muslija, the visit to Europa-Park was particularly emotional. In 2010, a young Muslija was the face of the advertisement for the opening of the “Whale Adventures - Northern Lights” attraction. On this day, he returned to the ride that marked a significant moment in his childhood. With a smile, he once again took hold of the water cannon and enjoyed the adventure just as much as he did 14 years ago. Revisiting this attraction offered Muslija a nostalgic journey back to his past, leaving him visibly moved.

Team bonding and shared memories

The trip to Europa-Park was not just an opportunity for the players to unwind, but also a chance to strengthen their team spirit. Away from the football pitch, they were able to deepen their friendships and create shared experiences that will bring them even closer together as a team.
