In the exclusive setting of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Roland Mack, founder of Europa-Park, was honored with the “Wellness Aphrodite” in the special category “Tradition & Vision.” This accolade highlights his long-standing commitment to the international entertainment and hotel industries.

The Award and Its Significance

Roland Mack, the visionary behind Germany's largest amusement park, received the special “Tradition & Vision” award from the prestigious “Wellness Aphrodite.” This award is presented by Freizeit Verlag in collaboration with an expert jury, focusing on the best wellness hotels in the German-speaking region, based on reviews from the travel portal meintophotel.de and the “Mein Tophotel” Hotel Guide 2024.

Award Categories

The “Wellness Aphrodite” is conferred in ten different categories, including wellness cuisine, fitness & sport, beauty & treatments, and spa design. A new category added in 2023 is for the best signature treatment. The “Tradition & Vision” award, received by Roland Mack, honors exceptional lifework and visionary achievements in the hospitality industry.

Europa-Park as a Travel Destination

The Europa-Park Experience Resort in Rust is Germany's largest contiguous hotel resort, featuring six 4-star superior hotels. Currently, the resort is managed by Thomas Mack, a managing partner and trained hotelier.
