On September 1, 2024, 105 young adults began their apprenticeships at Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort, including the Rulantica water world and MACK Rides. With over 250 trainees and students in total, the company is one of the most significant training providers in the region.

Start of Apprenticeships and Variety of Training Programs

On September 1, 2024, 105 new trainees and students embarked on their professional journeys at Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort. The company, which encompasses not only the amusement park itself but also the Rulantica Water World and the manufacturer MACK Rides, offers an impressive variety of training programs. In total, there are 33 different apprenticeships and 13 dual study programs available, making Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort one of the largest training companies in the region.

International Presence and Recruitment Success

One of the most noteworthy aspects is the international background of the new trainees, who hail from countries such as Uzbekistan, South Africa, Namibia, and Zimbabwe. Frederik Mack, Director of Human Resources at Europa-Park, emphasized the importance of the record number of over 255 trainees and students. He particularly highlighted the success of recruitment efforts in Central Asia, which have contributed to the growing international diversity of the workforce. “By undertaking an apprenticeship, young people are investing in their future, and those who are passionate and dedicated will find all doors open in our family business,” Mack stated.

Onboarding and Special Training Opportunities

To facilitate their entry, the company organizes an onboarding week, during which the new trainees can meet their instructors and colleagues, attend training sessions, and familiarize themselves with the company. A unique offering this year is a cross-border apprenticeship in gardening, where the practical part of the training takes place in Germany while the vocational school is attended in France. This highlights the company’s commitment to international and intercultural training opportunities.

Awards and Employment Prospects

The high quality of training at Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort has once again been recognized with the “TOP-Ausbildungsbetrieb” (Top Training Company) seal. The company places great importance on nurturing young talent, which is reflected in the high employment rate, with 96 percent of trainees receiving a job offer after completing their training. This makes the company an attractive employer for young talents.
