Monaco Joins Europa-Park as 18th Themed Area in 2026

In 2026, Europa-Park will introduce the Principality of Monaco as its 18th European themed area. Starting in March 2025, a Preview Center in the Silver Star Halle will offer visitors an early glimpse into the world of the Grand Prix and Monaco’s elegance.

New Themed Area Showcases Monaco’s Charm

The new themed area will highlight the excitement of the Grand Prix of Monaco. It will feature the principality’s iconic landmarks, famous casino, luxurious marinas, and Mediterranean landscapes. Cultural highlights, top-tier gastronomy, and picturesque alleys define Monaco as the “Jewel of the Côte d’Azur.” The area blends history with modernity, embodying excellence and prestige worldwide. H.S.H. Prince Albert II stated: “For 50 years, Europa-Park has delighted families. I’ve visited it often with my children. This partnership thrills me, as it brings a Monegasque themed area in 2026. Millions will discover Monaco.” His commitment to environmental protection, particularly for oceans and marine biodiversity, will shape the area’s design.

Partnership with the Principality of Monaco

Roland Mack, Europa-Park’s owner, said: “Monaco is one of Europe’s most captivating countries. Our guests can look forward to exciting offerings tied to the principality. The Monaco flair begins in 2025. Working with the Princely Family and Prince Albert is both delightful and valuable.” The Preview Center opens in March 2025 in the Silver Star Halle, offering initial insights. Monaco joins nations like France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland as the park’s 18th represented country.

Exclusive Events Starting in 2025

In 2025, Monaco will shine with exclusive events at Europa-Park. An exhibition of the “Collection des Voitures de S.A.S. le Prince de Monaco” will display historic vehicles, showcasing Monaco’s automotive heritage. The atmosphere of the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo will also arrive. Held annually in January under Princess Stephanie’s leadership, this festival gathers top circus artists vying for the prestigious “Golden Clown” award. Roland Mack was named “Ambassador of the Circus 2025.” In collaboration with Europa-Park and Cirque de Monte-Carlo artists, new shows will immerse visitors in the enchanting world of circus arts.
