A Michelin-Starred Chef for a One-of-a-Kind Concept

Mayer’s passion for haute cuisine was shaped during his training under the renowned French Michelin-starred chef Jean-Claude Bourgueil at the restaurant *Im Schiffchen* in Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth. His career then led him through some of Germany’s finest restaurants and luxury hotels, where he gained invaluable experience. As head chef at *Wintergarten* in *Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa* in Baden-Baden, he earned 16 Gault&Millau points and seven pans in the Gusto gourmet guide. Most recently, he led the kitchen at the *Atlantic Restaurant* in Hamburg’s famous Grand Hotel on the Außenalster, where he secured a Michelin star. His exceptional talent was also recognized by the prestigious magazine *Der Feinschmecker*, which named him “Chef of the Month” in May 2024.

Mayer had been following the development of Eatrenalin with great interest since its opening. “I was fascinated by this innovative and unique concept from the very beginning.
