Starting on September 28, 2024, Europa-Park will once again host Germany's largest Halloween event. Until November 3, visitors will be greeted by over 180,000 pumpkins, 15,000 chrysanthemums, 6,000 corn plants, and more than 100,000 autumn flowers, transforming the park into a spooky autumn wonderland. With a mix of breathtaking shows, themed attractions, and special culinary offerings, Europa-Park delivers a Halloween experience like no other.
Thrills and chills in 17 themed areas
The Halloween spirit takes over all 17 European-themed areas. The new Croatian-themed area features the “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac,” a multi-launch coaster that offers seven inversions and innovative ride elements for adrenaline seekers. The classic ghost castle, “Castello dei Medici,” invites guests to a revamped haunted house ride, immersing them in a dark medieval setting.For younger visitors, Europa-Park offers exciting experiences too. In the French-themed area, the “Spooky Kids Village” awaits, where children can enjoy activities like Halloween-themed hairstyling and creative workshops. The Spanish-themed area transforms the fast-paced carousel “Feria Swing” into the “Flight of the Vampires,” offering a unique spooky ride. The Dutch-themed area adds eerie thunder and haunting music to the “Koffiekopjes,” which are renamed “Griezelkopjes,” for a truly hair-raising experience.
“SPOOK ME! 2” – The Musical Dinner Experience
“SPOOK ME! 2" brings back the popular Europa-Park musical in an exciting sequel. From September 21 to November 3, audiences will be treated to stunning stage sets, captivating music, and elaborate costumes. On select dates, visitors can also enjoy the exclusive “Musical & Dinner” experience. After the show, guests will be escorted to the historic Schloss Balthasar for an autumn-themed dinner with live music, making it an unforgettable evening.“Traumatica – Festival of Fear”
For the bravest visitors, “Traumatica – Festival of Fear” offers the ultimate horror experience. Running from September 27 to November 9, the award-winning horror festival features seven terrifying attractions and over 150 professional actors. Guests can expect intense scare zones and interactive haunted houses, designed to deliver maximum fear. The sneak preview will be held on September 25, with additional dates on October 24, October 31, and November 7, adding extra doses of terror.Visitors also have the opportunity to experience the immersive theater show, “Mystery Experience Eden Manor,” which is offered on select days. This private and avant-garde show combines theatrical elements with acrobatics and interactive choreography, making it a must-see for horror fans.
Spooky Fun at Rulantica Water World
Rulantica, Europa-Park's water world, also gets a spooky makeover for Halloween. A giant skeleton, numerous pumpkins, and eerie decorations create an unforgettable atmosphere. Especially for children, Rulantica offers interactive fun with the “Geisterzeit” kids' show and the “Schatz der Geisterwikinger” treasure hunt.For adults, the “Rulantica Vibes” at the Frigg Temple swim-up bar will be accompanied by DJ beats and Halloween cocktails. For relaxation, the “Hyggedal” wellness area, spanning over 1,000 m2, offers a luxurious retreat. Guests can book day suites or VIP Svits that include private saunas, lounge areas, and panoramic balconies—perfect for unwinding after a day of Halloween excitement.
