Marking Europa-Park’s 50th anniversary, Ed and Edda make their cinematic debut. The charming animated adventure follows Edda, daughter of fairground operator Erwin, who dreams of becoming a race car driver. During the 50th European Grand Prix, she seizes the chance to meet her idol, Ed, while aiming to save her father’s struggling business by taking the wheel herself. The film promises humorous action, enchanting characters, and family-friendly racing excitement.
Behind the Scenes of the Production
This co-production between MACK Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany is penned by Kirstie Falkous, John Reynolds, Jeff Hylton, and Ben Safier. Producer Michael Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park and founder of MACK Magic, collaborates with MACK Animation Studios in Hannover. Known for hits like “Konferenz der Tiere” and the “Happy Family” franchise, the studio brings the characters to life. Director Waldemar Fast, with over 20 years of experience in animation, leads the project.
