Corentin Weber has made it: From an enthusiastic park visitor to the assistant housekeeper at the Hotel Krønasår in Europa-Park. His career path is an inspiring example of how a childhood dream can become a reality.
Early Enthusiasm and Collecting Passion
From an early age, Corentin discovered his love for Europa-Park, a place that, for many from Alsace, including his family, became an integral part of their year. His enthusiasm was expressed through an extensive collection of park memorabilia, ranging from flags to stuffed animals. This passion grew and eventually filled an entire room, representing Corentin's private tribute to the amusement park.
Starting a Dream Career
Corentin's professional journey at Europa-Park began in the summer of 2014, when he took a position as a bellboy at the Bell Rock and Colosseo hotels. Despite lacking a driver's license, he was not deterred: he used public transportation to reach his dream job. These initial experiences in the park, working with other students, and the friendships formed during this time profoundly shaped his fond memories.
From Student to Assistant Housekeeper
After completing his dual studies in hotel and restaurant management, Corentin significantly contributed to the planning of the opening of the Krønasår Hotel. The hotel, inspired by a natural history museum and part of Germany's largest hotel resort, reflects the excellence that Corentin so values.
Daily Challenges and Future Plans
Today, as Deputy Housekeeper, Corentin oversees the boutique suites at the hotel, manages the cleaning staff's deployment, and continuously optimizes processes. His focus is on maintaining and enhancing the high standards of the 4-star superior hotels. Corentin plans to continue his career at Europa-Park and actively contributes to shaping the park's future chapters.
Appreciation of Company Values
Corentin admires the determination and work ethic displayed by the Mack family, the owners of Europa-Park. He sees these values as a model for his career and strives to implement them daily in his professional life.
