The primary school students of Friederike-Brion in Meißenheim, alongside their principal Marlene Haßler, have donated 1,125 euros to the charity “einfach helfen e.V.” This generous contribution benefits a sick boy in need of numerous therapies for his treatment.
A Charitable Initiative with Heart
In November of the previous year, the 150 students of the Friederike-Brion Primary School in Meißenheim embarked on a creative project. They crafted various items that were then sold at the local Christmas market. This initiative was not only a display of creativity but also of compassion, as the proceeds were dedicated to a charitable cause.
Ceremonial Donation
The donation was ceremoniously handed over in an event highlighted by various activities, emphasizing the significance of the gesture. Mauritia Mack, the chairperson of “einfach helfen e.V.,” along with Ludwina Geiger, gratefully accepted the donation. Mack expressed admiration for the students' commitment and emphasized that the donation would directly benefit the affected boy's family.
Surprise by Ed Euromaus
In recognition of their efforts, the students were surprised by Ed Euromaus, the mascot of Europa-Park, bringing joy and smiles to their faces. They were rewarded with small gifts as a token of appreciation.
Community Spirit in Action
This initiative illustrates how a sense of community and solidarity can be put into practice. Through their actions, the students of the Friederike-Brion Primary School aided a sick child and set a strong example of social commitment.
